anyone who actually listens to the music i post on my blog can already tell, but my tastes obviously run pretty chillwave, indie rock, folk, etc.

but even so, madeon is listed in my mental dictionary next to the word “GOOD” & i do enjoy EDM when it’s well mixed. (porter robinson & madeon are my two favorite electronic artists.)

the relevance kicks in considering i went to identity fest down at penn’s landing last night. (and then proceeded to spend all day today in recovery.) i wasn’t planning on going, but i got a free ticket off of facebook and tagged along with a group of “friends of friends” that i’d never met before. & despite my deep-rooted fear of social awkwardness? it ended up being one of those nights that really makes you appreciate being young. even as i ruminate daily on getting older, something about the spontaneity of the night.
